Serco Case Study

Main House

Due to our ongoing successful relationship with Life Fitness, we were introduced to Serco when they took over the management of two key training institutes in the UK and required new uniforms for the staff at each facility.

We were asked to provide a clothing solution for each of the venues, Bisham Abbey and Lilleshall. For Lilleshall, we needed to kit out approximately 185 staff in under a month. The uniform varied from department to department meaning we had to ensure the garments chosen were specific for the role of the wearer- good quality, confortable and durable. Departments that required uniform included:

– Technical Team

– Cleaners and housekeeping

– Gym

– Management

The above uniform requirements included a range of corporate wear, hi-vis and outdoor clothing and hard wearing uniforms for cleaning staff. In addition to this name badges were also needed for all staff at the centre.

Lee Moore, General Manager at Lilleshall, said “As a high profile sports site heavily involved in the run up to the Olympics 2012, it is extremely important to ensure our image is consistent with the high quality sports facilities we provide. Uniform is integral to this. We were really impressed with both the uniform proposal Creative Emporium presented to us and the fact that we speak to, and see the senior management team on a regular basis, really makes us trust their service offering. Going forward, we are looking to establish smart and presentable employees and we are confident Creative Emporium are the right suppliers to help us achieve this.”
