Darren does a runner (for a good cause)

Creative Emporium MD Darren Cohen will be running in this year’s Great North Run, his fourth time now. Rumour has it that he’s following a punishing training regime and that he’s hoping to easily beat all of his previous times. Darren’s also hoping to raise a grand total of £3000 in sponsorship. Over to the man himself to explain:
“Earlier this year I decided to run for St. Gemma’s Hospice as many years ago they looked after my Grandma Rose after she was diagnosed with cancer.
Very recently our nextdoor neighbours John & Rose lost their 29 year old daughter Karen (pictured opposite) to a very rare form of cancer. She spent the last part of her life in St. Gemma’s and her family can’t speak highly enough about the care & support that they provided to Karen and the whole family.
Despite never having the pleasure to get to know Karen, I have decided to dedicate the run to her and would ask you to dig deep to a very worthy cause.”
