It looks like Spring has finally arrived and for Creative Emporium that can only mean one thing- FIBO!
FIBO is Europe’s biggest trade show for the Health and Fitness Industry with over 560 exhibitors from 38 countries. The event held in Essen, Germany is on for 5 days during which approximately 58,000 visitors make their way around 12 halls covering 75,000m2!

Darren, Gavin and Richard travelled to Germany last Tuesday to meet with the Life Fitness sales team before the show to showcase a new and innovative product- a Portable Merchandise Display Unit (PMDU). The unit is ideal for gyms and health clubs to install in their facility to display the range of products available on the Life Fitness e-shop (www.lifefitness-shop.com)
The PMDU generated lots of interest particularly from the Life Fitness team in America who had never seen anything like it!
On Wednesday, it was time for the CE team to visit the show itself. Over the next two days, the team met with a number of Life Fitness Distributors to discuss the e-shop concept and present the PMDU to them as a way to display merchandise in their showrooms. In and amongst these meetings, the team also had a chance to walk round the show itself and see how big it is!
Overall the show was a great success with lots of interest in the e-shop and the merchandise and clothing available- We look forward to returning again next year!

We have all seen the news over the past couple of weeks and the terrible events that occurred on March 11th. As well as the massive human tragedy that unfolded, repercussions of the earthquake are starting to affect a range of different industries that rely so heavily on the expertise and production capabilities Japan offers. This includes the electronics industry and in particular USB’s.

Many of the components used in the manufacture of USB’s are now in short supply as a number of factories can no longer continue production. This has created a demand for USB’s far outweighing supply. This is inevitably affecting price and lead times for USB’s.
Please be aware that if you require USB’s for an event or promotional campaign, more time may be required to fulfill your order. At Creative Emporium, we have strong relationships with all major USB suppliers and are working closely with them in order to reduce the impact of the current situation. If you have a USB enquiry, please contact one of our Account Managers today on 08707 500057 for the latest up to date information.

Recently, two of our team went out to Rotterdam to meet with one of our clients, Life Fitness EMEA to discuss the next exciting phase of the e-shop we have designed and built for them. The e-shop is used by Life Fitness salespeople, distributors, gyms and fitness centres throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Life Fitness branded promotional merchandise and clothing is available on the shop including the option for dual branded items- ideal for staff uniforms. For further background on this story please click here
Darren and Gav spent two days at the European head office in Rotterdam with the new Life Fitness marketing team to discuss development of the e-shop. This included showcasing new products to add to the shop including a wide range of point of sale material and a new bespoke technical clothing range.
Prior to the Rotterdam visit, Darren, Gav and Project Manager Richard visited the Life Fitness offices in the UK to showcase the clothing to the Life Fitness UK Sales Team with a fashion show (where they modeled the clothes themselves!) followed by a “speed dating” series of meetings with the UK Sales Team to explain the concept of the shop and the product range.
