PETER SWEENEYWAREHOUSE MANAGER

…is our Warehouse Manager who has over 35 years’ experience in the warehouse / logistics sector. He grew up in the sixties alongside his five brothers and five sisters and entered the world of work as a child, at a poultry farm for a whopping fifty pence an hour. After finishing school Peter moved into the warehouse sector, starting as a picker/packer and advancing up the ladder to managing 15 supervisors and 200+ staff. These days he deals with the whole setup of our warehouse which has all been restructured and transformed into a super organised aisle system. Peter’s the man behind our warehouse management system too which ensures we have great control of all stock that we hold and when it comes to targets, he knows all about them as a former darts player playing in the Halifax League. One of his most memorable moments was visiting the Grand Canyon on his annual travels but back on home soil you might find him watching sports (he’s a Manchester City fan) or spending time with his family and listening to Amy Winehouse.
CHARLOTTE RHODESACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

… is our lady of law and Leeds Rhino’s fan. She studied LLB Law at the University of Hull and had a stint as a customer care assistant and a sales administrator. She later entered the employment law sector as a Legal Advisor giving out advice to employers regarding their companies and employees as well as conducting employment hearings. Over in the Client Services team, you’ll now find Charlotte pulling quotes together, answering enquiries, passing orders through to production and generating ideas for creative briefs. Away from the office you might find her out and about with friends, attending gigs or going on a run. She’s a fan of festivals and her dressing gown…but never at the same time!
LAUREN DOUGLASACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

…is our pattern producer and fully fledged fine artist. She studied Fine Art at Northumbria University specialising in screen print and installation art, designing and making her own wallpapers. Upon the completion of her studies Lauren moved to Thailand for 14 months where she taught English at a Primary School and managed the English programme. We do seem to favour a Lauren here and have amassed quite a collection now. This Lauren is a member of our Client Services team though, working on some of our key accounts, number crunching the quotes, sourcing products and assisting in any way that she can. Outside the office if she’s not socialising or dining out you might find her travelling, cooking or making her own artwork. No spicy food though please.
NICCI BATEMANACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

…is our cool headed high-flyer and multi-talented dancer. She started training at the age of three participating in ballet, tap, modern, jazz and contemporary dance. It was a costly hobby indeed, so a seven year old Nicci set up her own car washing business (with a work phone!) to fund her dreams. Her dancing took her to Shanghai for three months where she was able to perform at conferences and car shows as well as a backing dancer for milkshake maker Kelis. Nicci later landed herself a role as a BA cabin crew member which gave her lots of experience working with customers and solving problems in a literally and figuratively speaking high pressure situation. These days Nicci is thinking on her feet, solving problems, writing up quotes and giving amazing customer service. She could be sourcing a giant gumball machine one day to seeking out items to entertain children at a conference the next. Away from the office you might find her traveling and making the most of her weekends, avoiding spicy food, indulging in Disney or getting back to the dance studio.
JAMESON ROGANJUNIOR DESIGNER / ARTWORKER

…is our typographical zealot and lawful graffitist. He comes from a little town called Yarm in the North East where he could often be found outdoors or drawing. Jameson originally entered college to study Uniformed Services (reaching the final stages of the Fire Service application) before switching over to Graphic Communications at Cleveland College of Art & Design. It must have been worth it as he’s already had some of his illustration work featured in an Australian typography book! Jameson began his design career in his local Middlesbrough at a design and print company before moving down to Leeds in 2016. These days, two days are rarely the same but you might find him working on anything from emailers and visuals to web designs and wall graphics as well as creating and approving artwork for production. When he’s not illustrating, cooking or watching films you might find him enjoying a hike, having climbed the highest mountain in Northern Europe whilst traveling around Norway. Next stop Mont Blanc!

…is our young starter and spirited sports fan. He grew up in a small market town on the Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire border and moved to Leeds in 2012 to study Sports Business Management at Leeds Met University. Jake began working at the ripe age of 14, starting out at the golf club before moving behind the bar. Come the end of his studies, he’d landed himself the role of Magazine Distributor down in Peterborough giving him a great understanding of the processes businesses use to get products from production to the consumer. These days he has a client facing role looking after some of our largest clients and ensuring that they receive the best service possible. Away from the office you might finding him cheering on The Posh (aka Peterborough United) , playing his guitar or thinking about playing golf.
HEATHER MOSLEYACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

…is our self confessed champion brownie maker and multi-lingual who speaks French, German and Spanish as well as her usual English. She’s originally from the small market town of Pickering and has a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Sheffield. Heather has previously spent a year abroad teaching English in Austria and Spain so experienced the extreme ends of the weather spectrum! These days Heather is helping out with enquiries (sometimes in German and Spanish too) and rattling off quotes with speed. Away from the hustle and bustle of the office she’s a big time tea drinker with a somewhat unhealthy Harry Potter obsession (she’s read/watched them over 20 times and in 4 languages!). Heather’s a firm believer of giving everything a go once, just don’t give her pineapple on pizza.
JIMMY BLAIRBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

…is our Sports enthusiast and vinyl record collector. He set up a telemarketing agency with a couple of friends at the start of the global recession and despite that became fairly successful with a back to basics approach, carrying out satisfaction surveys, running inbound telephone lines and performing database cleanses for a number of clients. After two years Jimmy went to live in Suva, Fiji for seven months where he lived with a Fijian family and volunteered as a teacher/rugby coach in a primary school. Back on these shores, Jimmy has worked in a school in the Lake District before moving down to London in a recruitment role. These days he’s driving new business for the Uniform team here, largely looking at on board retail, leisure and facilities management clients, as well as manning the social media side of it all too. When he’s not watching/playing sport or going out, you might find him watching the latest blockbusters or reading non-fiction. Did we mention he’s met Jonah Lomu too?

…is our former traveling teacher. She’s a Halifax girl who moved to York to study Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status at St John’s University before going inter-railing around Europe visiting an impressive 12 countries in 32 days. Megan began her career as a Year 3 Primary School teacher back in Halifax before gaining a certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) which took her to a school in Surin, Thailand for a month. Whilst she was over that way, she had an Aussie adventure for another month but she’s now settled here as part of our production co-ordinator team, processing and tracking the orders, ensuring a smooth process for account handlers and clients and keeping them in the loop. When she’s not exploring new places you might find at the gym, listening to music or eating cheesecake.

…is our e-commerce wiz and motocross enthusiast. He grew up with his four brothers in a small village of 500 people before moving to “big city” Birmingham in order to study Business & Management at Aston University. Aharon co-founded his own online and off-site catering company which connects gourmet home chefs with offices back home in his local Coventry serving the likes of Jaguar Landrover and more. These days he is taking extra special care of customers, creating lasting business relationships, preparing quotes, answering the phones and trying to make as make our customers as happy as possible. When he’s not enjoying food and drink with friends or being out in nature, you might find Aharon playing Badminton, Tennis or Hiking. Oh yes, and it’s pronounced Air-run.
REBECCA BURKEPRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR

…is our psychology pro who might even know how we all think, feel and behave! She’s originally from Bingley and attended Leeds Beckett University to carry out her degree in Criminology & Psychology. Becky’s began her career as a Service and Sales Advisor for Unite Students – a student accommodation provider but she’s now part of our lively production co-ordinators team. These days Becky processes the orders, keeping clients up to date with their progress, chasing up any missing items and sorting any problems that arise. Some might say she’s a swan on the surface but her feet are going crazy underneath. Speaking of animals, she’s not a fan of frogs, but Becky’s been hopping desks herself here in the office or so I’ve been toad. When she’s not spending time with family and friends or sipping Malibu you might find her on the ski slopes, reading a book or visiting the theatre.
GEORGE POLITISWAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

…is our warehouse manager who was born on the island of Corfu. He started his own business at the age of 19 selling website templates but sold that after starting university to concentrate on his studies. George studied Business & Management at Leeds Met Uni before moving on to Tesco. Within six months be became Team Leader and worked his way up to Store Manager. After 7 years at Tesco he joined B&Q as a showroom manager which was very focused on customer service, managing his team and being an expert in DIY! George has two stand out moments in his life, the first being his time serving with the Greek army where he joined up with the NATO forces for a 6 month tour of Gaza. The second one was a little closer to home with the birth of his son Leonidis. These days George looks after the whole operation of the warehouse working closely with the team to ensure stock records are accurate, production teams have their stock and we comply with health and safety regulations. Away from the office he is a mega movies fan, although can never remember the actors names so don’t test him on that! George is a gamer too and has his own man-cave but has recently found himself crawling on the floor and watching Paw Patrol far more than he should!

…is our football fanatic and primary perfume pundit. She’s originally from York and often pops home to visit her family and dog. Ebony moved over to Leeds when studying Sports Marketing at Leeds Met University. Here she obtained a first and was rewarded with a Deans prize award (which we are told means she contributed the most during the three years). Ebony now has several years’ experience within retail most recently with Penhaligons perfumery which allowed her to enjoy perfume even more whilst learning more about it at the same time! She’s a member of the uniform team (working with some of our council and holiday park customers) ensuring all the orders are processed, sent to production and delivered to the client efficiently. Away from the office, she’s a strong Liverpool FC supporter but often gets dragged along to watch York City or Leeds United by family members. Did we mention she played for York City when she was younger?

…is our expert in economics. She gained herself a profession certificate as an Economist Technician before going on to study Management and Marketing at the University of Rzeszow, Poland. Initially Dorota relocated to England for a few months but returned to Leeds after graduating and began working as part of the production team. She is now our credit controller who can often be spotted keeping track of any monies owed to the business as well as posting and allocating daily receipts, resolving outstanding invoice queries or negotiating re-payment plans. When it comes to free time Dorota loves spending time with her little boy, listening to music or watching a good drama.

…is our Accounts Assistant who also has a lot of knowledge on the print industry. She moved to Leeds while at Leeds Art College and went on to study Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University. Olivia has worked in production for printing firms in the past and also draws, screen prints and sell’s her own work online in her spare time along with the odd art/design fair when she has chance. She started off as a two-day-a-weeker but will now be with us full time getting involved with sales invoicing, purchase ledger work and reconciling statements. Olivia has ten brothers and sisters so it’s safe to say she’s always got someone looking out for her.

…is our number cruncher and keen swimmer. She did her BEC National Certificate in Business Studies in her home town of Durham before gaining her first job as a Commercial Apprentice. Seven years later Gail moved to Leeds with her husband working as a Management Accountant and later promoted to Group Financial Controller. She’s had a spell as a Finance Manager and now oversees the day to day activities of the Accounts Department ensuring that all our accounts are produced timely and accurately. When she’s not keeping fit and walking the dog you might find Gail watching football or spending time with her family.

…is our multi-talented dancer who has completed grades in ballet, gymnastics, tap and modern dance. Whilst studying Accounting and Finance at Leeds Met University, Ashleigh completed a placement year in London living the busy life of sales and customer service. She’s worked in retail, admin and banking at Next and is now Internal Account Manager on Charlotte’s team, looking after some of our key clients including Colliers, Viavi and Douwe Egberts to name just a few. Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys socialising with friends and dining out.

Is our Accounts Assistant and self-proclaimed foodie. She’s always been a maths expert from an early age and began her studies with an AAT qualification at Babington Business College whilst working as an apprentice at an accountancy firm in Wakefield. Emma had a stint as a Sales Ledger Clerk before gaining her promotion to Assistant Accountant at The Car People. Emma’s current role involves invoicing, bank reconciliations, statement reconciliations and credit card analysis. Away from the office Emma loves hosting themed parties and BBQ’s and is currently learning the art of Indian cuisine. Whilst at school, she was also in a dance video in New York as part of an MTV dance competition and joined a workshop with the Broadway Lion King cast!

..is our history buff and bass guitarist in training. She grew up in Manchester and crossed the Pennines to study History at Leeds Met University. Lauren’s background lies in retail, sales and customer service and she volunteered as a festival steward whilst at University. Lauren works with the Apparel Team dealing with all the uniform orders for East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Serco and Park Resorts. She sources garments and ensures they all go through to production successfully and to a super high standard. Lauren is well known for having a lot of knowledge about music and random facts, so she’s good in a pub quiz!

When he’s not attending gigs or writing music, you might find him at the City Ground watching Nottingham Forest, playing football, golf or snowboarding.

…is our trained classical pianist. Emma graduated from Exeter Uni in 2012 with Business and Management BA Hons, since then she has moved to Huddersfield, bought a house and has a new Scottie dog puppy called Magnus! She has worked with key accounts during her time at Creative Emporium such as Deloitte, and she is currently the Account Manager for The University of Manchester and the BBC. Visiting the Manchester sites is a key part of her role here, ensuring customers are happy and up to date with new innovative products! Outside of work Emma loves being out and about on the social scene where you’ll see her cocktail in hand in Sky bar but when the cold weather sets in or if it all gets too much you’ll find her on the settee with Magnus and a good David Attenborough documentary!

He has 17 years of experience in sourcing, account management and business development and works with all our account teams ensuring projects are managed to time and budget. Gavin’s role includes seeking out and developing new business opportunities in addition to managing all sales forecasts and figures. Outside of work Gavin enjoys reading, telling stories, eating chicken and spending time with his little ones.

Darren is still very much hands on to this day, driving the business forward. In his spare time he’s a family man and proud father and would love to speak Chinese and own a 911 Turbo Cabriolet.

…is our master of marketing who’s always on the ball chasing updates and ensuring everything gets finished around here. She comes from Cheshire but has now been in Yorkshire for over ten years after completing her degree in Marketing at Huddersfield. Hannah shares her marketing support between Creative Emporium and some of our long serving clients. She is also involved with project managing all our CO3 projects and writing all the tender submissions for the company. We’ve heard she’s a bit of a film addict too so a good one to have in a pub quiz.

Is our go-to guy for anything procedure based. He is involved with a whole range of duties including IT systems, staff training, project management and our environmental performance. He creates our policies and works with all teams to ensure that all of our systems and processes integrate and work efficiently. Dave kick started the cycle to work scheme and he has a hat full of tricks when it comes to Excel. Outside of work Dave is a musician and rock climber, but never at the same time…it’s against health and safety we’ve been told.

…is our fitness and diet fanatic and looks after our uniform/apparel division for some of our key clients. Her objective is to ensure we deliver a first class service to our clients and ensure all their service requirements are met. Kelly has built up a wealth of experience in the customer service and hospitality sector and lists socialising, keeping fit and travelling as her favourite activities outside of work. She’d love to be able to fly and own an Range Rover Sport.

…is well known amongst her clients as a “branding wizard!”. She relocated to Leeds from sunny Scarborough and looks after the Benefit and Nectar accounts. With experience in the customer service sector, Charlotte enjoys problem solving and previously worked for an online men’s designer clothing website. Charlotte loves to travel and previously worked in Sydney and Melbourne for American Express and Guthy Renker. Whilst in Oz she managed to get stuck in to some white-water rafting, a 14,500 foot skydive, bungee jumping, zip-wiring through the rainforest and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef! She’s also a fan of red shoes!

…is our budding baker who originates from Newmarket in Suffolk. Her previous experience comes from the oil and gas industry in sales; managing their European accounts and visiting their sites. In her spare time, she keeps busy with her five year old son, Tyler. Amy is our Production Manager, liaising with all our suppliers and in-house production team to ensure our clients orders get to them on time! Her role is crucial for ensuring first class customer service and we would be lost without her!

…is the man behind the controls to the VersaCamm and artwork connoisseur. He studied Graphic Design at Northampton University and is now involved in seeking out new media and machinery for the artwork team. Paul assisted in the expansion of our transfer printing department and now looks after his own set of clients. Often on his feet attending to plotters and printers, Paul creates visuals for client approval, produces transparency film separations and digital transfers for our production teams. In emergencies he has been known to dabble in embroidery digitising and is always happy to help out with his vast knowledge of print. When he’s not merging animals or making up his own lyrics for songs on the radio Paul enjoys watching sci-fi fantasies, reading books and wishing he could fly a plane.

…is our uniform man, resident Geordie and James Bond enthusiast. He has spent all his working life in the clothing industry starting out in the retail sector before entering the world of uniforms some 25 years ago. Geoff manages our uniform/apparel business ensuring our high profile uniform customers are well catered for and oversees a highly motivated team of Account Mangers to support him on this quest. As a lifelong supporter of Newcastle United you’ll often find him on the terraces at St James’ Park cheering on the lads. Football is his passion and he still turns out each and every week for a game.

…is the creator of our beautiful brand identity and extremely fond of his fonts, tutorials and G-Star Raw. He graduated from Leeds Met with a degree in art and design and now has nine years design experience to his name. Working closely with the Marketing team Christos continually develops top quality creative to strict deadlines and is responsible for the leadership and direction of the company’s creative process. He has produced everything from branding and brochures to presentations and design for web. Outside of the office Christos is a sportsman and belongs to both basketball and cricket teams.

…is our customer service queen and self-proclaimed wine snob. She studied German and Business & Management at the University of Manchester graduating in 2009. With experience in the customer service sector, including the graduate scheme at M&S Lauren is responsible for the recruitment, training, management and development of all staff in the Client Services team. She ensures amazing customer service is a key strength of our business and we demonstrate this at all times. No two days are ever the same in her role as you might find Lauren improving our internal processes one day, and working with HR to plan for the business’ future the next. Lauren acts as a point of escalation for internal and client and ensures we are always offering cost effective, creative product ideas. Saying that, most of her day is spent providing support to anyone who needs it. Some might say she’s very detail focused and there to keep everyone in line. Outside of the office Lauren is a keen reader and a fan of Motown and Disco Classics.

…is our avid reader and classic rock enthusiast. He is originally from South West London but moved up to Yorkshire when studying I.T in Dewsbury. Nathans experience comes in customer service and he can often be found firing out quotes and finding new and intriguing promotional products for a renowned bus and coach manufacturer. As a result he has become a collector of bus shaped stress balls, paperweights, memory sticks and more! Nathan retains a hefty stack of hard backs by his desk and names Stephen Kings “The Dark Tower” series as his pick of the bunch. All aboard!

He studied Graphic Design at the University of Teesside specialising in Illustration before joining our artwork team over a decade ago! Whether preparing a visual for client approval, signing off proofs, running brand workshops, creating concepts or extending his far-reaching grasp of brand guidelines, Kris applies himself with thoroughness and dedication. When he’s not checking exclusion zones or playing pool on his lunch you might find him coordinating our re-using scrap scheme, ensuring all our tubes, bobbins and pots are averted from their otherwise landfill destination. All that’s without citing his fondness of riddles and rhymes and his former volunteer work with Raleigh International where he embarked on a seven week adventure to Namibia living in a tent amongst a herd of elephants whilst eating rusks and chakalaka.

…is one of our long term fixtures here, a master on the microphone and always on his phone. Over the last 14 years he has worked his way up through the print side of the business before becoming responsible for our high-tech and ever expanding screen print department. These days Jonny’s expertise is working with procurement and marketing departments in the football sector. One of his favourite films is Taken because he too has a very particular set of skills; with an excellent technical knowledge in all aspects of garment and textile printing. He’s also a fan of his TV soaps.
